Life brings us experiences which cause us stress, stretch our capacity to cope. We respond with depression and anxiety often resort to ineffective behaviors, such as substance use, attempting to maintain our stability. The impact on us can be devastating and we can spiral out of control, often resulting in a disruption in our relationships, ability to work, ability to manage tasks and affairs and our ability to find satisfaction or meaning in our lives. I use Internal Family Systems, cognitive behavioral, humanistic, client centered, and mindfulness based approaches to remove blocking emotions and beliefs can help find balance and promote healing.
I offer a nurturing and non-judgmental approach to therapy, encouraging a holistic approach to healing and life. I believe that each person has the inner capacity and resources to find a path to inner balance and harmony, and success and effectiveness in meeting the demands of life.

Mike is an amazing therapist. I am so grateful for the progress I have made in therapy. The work I have done and lessons from Mike have literally given my life back to me. I would recommend Mike to anyone seeking to improve their mental health and well being.
He’s so caring! He’s able to grasp what I’m saying, keep me organized in the thought process, and then show me a different way to look at things. He supports my journey and it really is fantastic to have someone who helps. Mike is great!
I have actually been in counseling for a while before I started working with Mike. Never had I felt as seen or heard by a counselor before. I love Mike's technique he really assess what I need each week and each session is its own thing. He'll either talk to me about my issues to really understand them, give me advice, or do a meditation that'll bring up repressed memories and solve through an issue. Working with him has been powerful.
He's helped me so much in just a few sessions and I can't recommend him enough
Thank you for your expertise In helping me through a tough time and evaluating helping me to organize my thoughts and how to push forward in a positive light.
