About me

Hello,
I am a Clinical Mental Health Counselor licensed in Iowa with over 40 years of experience working with people of all ages and psychological, emotional, relational, and behavioral concerns.

My therapeutic technique is eclectic, meaning that I utilize aspects of many therapy approaches tailoring treatment to the individual client’s needs.
My therapeutic style is that of a friendly conversation, providing empathy, compassion, absolute acceptance, and complete confidentiality. The entirety of counseling is based upon the interaction developed between the client and counselor within the counseling relationship. As with any relationship, one gains reflecting what one imparts.

Asking for help does not mean you are weak, but in fact means that you are strong and capable enough to seek help, and begin the process of change.
