About me

I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Behavioral Health Director (LPCC-S) based in North Olmsted, Ohio, and I am the father of one awesome son in kindergarten. My formative years were spent in Cleveland, Ohio and I have done extensive traveling to other parts of the country.

My experience enables me to offer effective individualized counseling for Individuals, Couples, and Families. I work from an eclectic approach based on existential, Attachment-Theory, Cognitive-Behavioral, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) and Family Systems approaches. I will be there for you every step of your journey. My goal is to help you develop your own roots and coping skills, and to help guide you and offer support along your life journey. In this process, you will find more insight, meaning, awareness, tools, and solutions to effectively weather any storm and find solid footing on your life path.

I completed my Masters’ Degree in Counseling at John Carroll University.
I specialize in:
• Marriage/Couples Counseling
• Addictions Counseling
• Family Counseling
• Depression
• Stress/Anxiety
My practice at The Dreaming Tree Counseling Center is based on treating my clients with dignity, respect, humor, and loving kindness.

I believe that each of us has a deep-seated desire to be in community and connection with others. My goal is to create a safe space where we can explore, know, and understand our whole selves - even the parts that we are sometimes afraid to look at.

I am passionate about assisting others in removing shame, fear, loneliness, sadness, and guilt so that they manifest their authentic self. I have an affinity for those struggling with making meaning of their lives and struggles with finding oneself and life transitions. Our time together is a safe place to explore what makes you, you.
I work from a client-centered counseling perspective and have a warm, welcoming, and genuine counseling style. I view most scenarios from a combination of Cognitive Behavioral and Mindfulness-Based perspective. I am open-minded, non-judgmental, and supportive. Our relationship is important to me because it sets the tone for our journey together creates a safe space for us to work together. Looking forward to speaking with you!
