Hi, and welcome :) I am Michele, an Ohio transplant originally from Pennsylvania. I graduated from John Carroll University in 2008 with an MA in Community Counseling. I am licensed in the state of Ohio as an Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and as a Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor-- with a Counseling Supervisor designation. I have been providing counseling services since 2001 in a variety of settings including inpatient mental health, residential substance abuse, private practice, dual diagnosis, and most recently Employee Assistance Counseling. I have worked with a wide age rage of clients with my youngest being 3 and spanning into late adulthood. I have worked with a variety of issues including depression, anger, self-esteem, anxiety, substance abuse, work stress, parental guidance, offending behaviors, etc. I have a special interest in helping those who are dealing with grief after a loved one has completed suicide.
I like to meet people where they are at and help them develop the skills they need to in order to feel better or be well. I have been described by colleagues as " having an uncanny ability to think outside the box to meet people where they are at without judgement." I utilize cognitive behavioral techniques, Motivational Interviewing, and other evidenced based practices, but overall i listen and help where help is needed and wanted. Choosing a counselor is often times a hard task to accomplish, I am truly grateful when someone chooses to trust me to guide them on their personal journey.
When I'm not helping others, i enjoy reading, writing, and being creative. I'm a mom to two boys who are always on the go and an avid bargain\
flea market hunter. My family and I enjoy home improvement, and are sometimes actually pretty good at it :) I like to have fun, make people laugh, and just enjoy the moments. I look forward to getting to know you better and potentially helping you achieve your goals.

Michelle is great - I haven't been working with her long, but I feel like I've already benefited from working with her.
Michele, is a knowledgeable, caring, and supportive therapist. She has helped me a lot in the short time I have worked with her. I am thankful for her.
Very helpful & considerate.
Michele has been very helpful and I appreciate her perspective.
Michele, is an insightful, kind, compassionate counselor. She shares her knowledge & guidance by using on point examples, evaluation of the issues, as well as her sharp wit and humor.
She knows when to delve deeply into a problem as well as when to lighten things with a her humor.
I’ve never trusted another human being as much as I trust Michele. Her straightforward directness leaves no room for doubts. You know exactly were you stand. I feel like she is never judgemental. Even when I’ve shared some deep, dark uglies, Michele never responds to me except openly & acceptingly. I’m so fortunate (blessed) that I was set up to work with Michele.
I can do things today that I could not do when we first met.
Michele has been helpful.
She is very supportive and gets back to me quickly! We are working on my issues!
She is skilled and very approachable.
I love how she works. She is very funny which makes this so much easier for me. She doesn't put to much pressure on you, but she sure guides you in the right direction.
Michele is very kind and generally wants to help. She doesn't make you feel helpless or irrational and tries to interact the best way she can over the web. She makes me at least feel less alone in what I'm going through.
