About me

Hello, my name is Michelle and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Tennessee. I have over 18 years of varied experience with adults, children, and teens with varied mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, history of trauma and PTSD, reactive attachment behaviors, family issues, parenting, and life changes. To better serve those I work with, I have begun to incorporate EMDR and Sand tray to address many issues in the therapeutic setting. I also have experience with use of CBT, TFCBT, DBT and emotion focused therapy.

I seek to provide a safe, comfortable space for counseling where clients feel supported, heard and can be open to learn about themselves and embrace the journey of change. My counseling style is caring, compassionate and honest. I am often solution focused but do use the best approach based on client need and personality. We will work together to find the best way to address your goals and specific needs.

Michelle is hands down, the BEST therapist I have been too in my life. I have always struggled to have a really good connection with my therapist but Michelle makes it so easy to open up too.
