About Me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I have been in practice since 2012 and have served many populations at every level of care. I have worked with the entire lifespan at the outpatient, in-home, in-patient and in groups over the last decade. I am passionate about working with individuals who have experienced traumatic life events, are going through life transitions, have anxiety, depression, family conflict and parenting conflicts.

I believe in mutual respect and providing the space for your healing process to occur. I use a cognitive behavioral approach embedded with trauma informed care. I tailor each treatment plan to each client and modify as we both see fit.

It takes courage to invest in yourself. I look forward to guiding you on your journey.

Michelle is the PERFECT counselor for women trying to figure themselves out after having a baby. Michelle has helped me deal with postpartum anxiety, the transition back to work/daycare, reconnecting with my spouse, and finding fulfillment in my life outside of being a mom.

Michelle is an extremely nice and wonderful human being! I came to Better Help with no knowledge or experience of therapy. This was my first time and I am very glad to have made the choice to seek therapy. I felt there was something wrong with me and had finally made the decision to do it. I got Michelle as my match up and I couldn’t be happier. I can talk to her openly and she responds with care. I can only connect to her with other things to gain a amazing relationship with her. She holds me accountable, reminds me to things of my health that I have forgotten and gives me tools of knowledge that I have never knew. She’s funny and friendly and I would recommend her to others!

Michelle has been so helpful for me. She is kind and manages to do just the right balance of supportive listening and guidance. She is extremely knowledgeable and naturally applies this to how she can help me in my life. I am so thankful to work with her and look forward to how I can continue to grow with her support!

I think Michelle has a pretty accurate picture of what’s going on in my life, she offered advice that was helpful. Now for me to put them in motion, I’ve tried, failed, but will keep trying :)
