Michelle has been amazing to work with, she has been very calming and reassuring throughout all of our sessions. I love that our sessions are based on you actually doing the work for yourself because your the one that wants it. She’s a great support system and the best therapist I have found.

I think Michelle Smith is great! I feel like she really listens and gives me great advice. I really like has she correctly summarizes the session in writing back to me. Not only does it show that she was listening, but when I read it back, it makes me realize where I am at by reading the summary of what I said in the session. I think she is a great person that really cares. I would recommend Michelle to anyone.

I have had mostly very good therapists but I enjoy and benefit from Michelle the most by quite a bit. In the first place I know it is difficult, communication wise, to understand my explanations and thoughts but Michelle does this far better than others. If I compare it to a typical meditation of mine, my mind keeps jumping around, sometimes completely not ever hearing the words or being mindful at all but when speaking to Michelle she always seems to be listening and processing every word. It makes it so much easier for me to express myself. And her responses in terms of homework or ideas at what I should investigate outside of the appointment are usually spot on

Michelle has been an invaluable guide and mentor as I have been healing from my trauma. As we work together, the is kind, and supportive. She is honest Nd holds me accountable for my commitments. She has helped me learn to be more kind to myself, showing me how my self-talk was as harsh as anything I heard from others. Our journey together has been difficult, sometimes painful, but incredibly satisfying when I look back from whare I am now.

My time communicating with Michelle has been very helpful. I don’t get time to journal or respond to messages from her until just before I go to bed. It is helpful to get my thoughts out and my questions asked knowing I will have a response when I wake up. I have yet to book a live session however when I send her a message or complete a worksheet I always have a response the next morning when I get up.

Michelle is wonderful! She has been a great help in focusing me on core issues to address. The journal/reflection prompts help me make progress during the week to get the most out of my time with her. I have only ever tried weekly 60 minute sessions before, so this format is new to me. I like the homework during the week and the touch base/focusing we have in our sessions. It feels like more active, self directed work. I highly recommend Michelle.

I've been having weekly therapy sessions with Michelle for a couple months now, and have found them to be very helpful. As someone who was nervous about starting online therapy, and kept finding excuses to put it off for months, I'm really happy I took the leap and contacted Better Help. Furthermore, I'm pleased with being paired with Michelle, as she has been able to help me navigate, process and understand several problems/difficulties I've been having in my life. I look forward to continuing to work through my issues with her.

I am someone with social anxiety, therefore, I was nervous of starting therapy. I was unsure of whether i would even do more than one session or if I'd gain anything useful from therapy. I can honestly say Michelle has been a great help. I've a number of sessions completed now. I look forward to our weekly session. She has given me different anxiety reduction exercises to try; helping me to find what works. She is always patient and understanding. Anytime I've messaged she has been quick to respond. Knowing I can communicate through video or messages is a win for someone with anxiety. The tailored journal prompts and affirmations are a definite favourite of mine. I'd 100% recommend her to others.

Michelle is great at giving resources, she does Mindful Monday's where she sends you something that either is tailored to you or something random like meditation exercise. She's a good listener but short half an hour sessions leave me feeling unfulfilled. I'm not sure I'm really getting much out of our sessions. She's fine I promise. I was really hoping she would motivate me more but she hasn't. I hear from her twice a week if I don't reach out. She is kind and understanding. She never makes me feel weird about things I tell her. After each session I should make sure to send me something that relates to the session, more resources or exercises. Which is fine, even really good. I like reading things that may help. Just hearing them it's not enough for me.
