Michelle Smith, LIMHP
About me
Michelle R. Smith is a dedicated mental health therapist in Nebraska with over 15 years of rewarding experience. She began her career supporting adolescent girls in the juvenile justice system, and her passion led her to establish a private practice that served adults, children, and families in her local community. In addition to her private practice, Michelle has served as an adjunct professor, teaching master's-level students essential skills for becoming compassionate and effective therapists.
With a specialization in trauma and attachment, Michelle has helped countless clients experience personal transformations in which they report significant decreases in anxiety and depression, as well as improved relationships and increased self-worth. She achieves these positive outcomes through relaxation techniques, emotional expression, and cultivating positive thoughts, empowering individuals to thrive. She hopes to inspire others on their journeys to wellness and personal growth.
