About me

I am a fully qualified counsellor and therapist, and a full member of the British Association of Counsellors & Psychotherapists (BACP) and work to their ethical framework. I am a supervisor with The Forward Trust a UK nationwide organisation. I work with adults and teenagers.
I have worked in the voluntary sector for “Change, Grow & Live” and “The Forward Trust”, both nationwide organisations in the UK, supporting people with homelessness, addiction, and poor mental health. I have also worked in a community counselling setting with Ashford Counselling Service and Kent Counsellors in the UK

I offer On-line counselling to English-speaking adults aged 18+
I work with a wide range of emotional and psychological health difficulties including, anxiety, depression, addiction, borderline and narcissistic personality issues, relationship and family problem’s, midlife crisis, divorce, bereavement and other forms of loss, low self-esteem, trauma related dissociation, Identity & sexual orientation & more...

I came into this work by way of personal and professional evolution and had to recognise and put right the legacy of my childhood experiences. Through my own personal therapy experience I developed better ways to think, act, and see myself in the world around me. I became a better father, partner and friend and went on to train and qualify as a counsellor /therapist. I laugh and curse and you will always know you are with a real human being!
I bring a rich life experience around family issues, stepfamilies, and modern eclectic family life, ‎giving me personal insight into the complex world of family dynamics. I worked extensively in the music business as a working musician/writer/producer and sound engineer for many years and understand creativity.

I’ve been working with Mitchell for some time now, and I can honestly say he is one of the best therapists I’ve ever had. He has a warm, compassionate, and understanding approach that makes it easy to open up. Mitchell creates a safe and supportive space where I feel truly heard and never judged.

Very kind, professional, but also straight to the point therapist. A great help with either listening, advice, or understanding.

I was very shy in the beginning but he really put me at ease and was very empathetic and a great listener - especially since I talk A LOT. Everything he said hit the bull’s eye and I took his words very seriously and respectfully as he knew exactly what points I was going for and the actual help that I needed. Will definitely recommend him as his vibes is also very safe and chilled.
