About me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over 15 years of experience working across of variety of settings. I've served in the capacity of counselor, life coach and advocate in settings that have included universities, public schools and private practice. Most recently, I had the honor of working with our nations' Service Members, Veterans and their families. I have experience working with depression, anxiety, sexual assault recovery, trauma, grief, life transitions, as well as other issues. My specialty is in trauma and PTSD, with a strong cognitive behavioral background. My therapeutic approach is integrative and I work with you to determine the approach to best meet your goals.

I have an interactive, warm and candid counseling style. I believe that we all have strengths within us to elicit change, growth, and to try new things. It takes courage to do something out of our comfort zone, and my goal from session one is to help you feel comfortable so we can work together to achieve your goals. I believe that we are all on this journey together and you will be treated with compassion and respect, no matter what your path has been that brought you here. LGBTQ+ ally, along with experience working with alternative lifestyles and relationships.
I have moved every 2 years of my life and that has given me the opportunity to work across various settings and cultures while being exposed to a wide variety of individuals. I can relate to and understand the demands of life we all face while trying to balance wellness- sometimes that task can seem daunting!
If you are ready to take this first step toward a positive change, I will be here to honor and empower that and look forward to working with you.
