About me

Hello, my name is Monique Bryant and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of New York and New Jersey. I earned my Bachelor of Science in Human Services, at Touro College in New York City. I earned my Master of Social Work at Touro College Graduate School of Social Work. I have a wide range of experience in working with individuals from a variety of different backgrounds with diverse needs, focusing on issues such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, parenting and family struggles as well as life changes.

Emotional problems do not have to be debilitating. Whether the problems are relationship issues, feelings of anxiety, depression or anger, psychotherapy can help. I believe in a strengths-based approach utilizing cognitive behavioral and solution focused techniques, which is always tailored to meet the client where they are at. Creating a safe, supportive, empathetic holding environment is primary to all the work I do. Together we will identify, explore and work to modify, and understand troublesome thought patterns and problematic behaviors that have led to emotional discomfort. My desire to empower my clients while relieving them of their emotional distress, so that the quality of their lives can improve. I welcome the privilege to work with you.

Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Monique Bryant. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

I worked with Monique once a week for several months. I really enjoyed working with her. Monique is an excellent listener and has a big heart. I felt that she was genuinely interested in my life and what I was sharing with her. She also has some zip and personality which makes speaking with her easier and more engaging than other therapists I've worked with. She was very flexible with her schedule as well, which I appreciated. I'd highly recommend Monique to anyone who needs a person to talk to. She may not have a PhD or an MD, but she helped me as much or more than "doctors" I've worked with in the past.

Monique is warm, patient, and kind. She is a great listener and feels very non-judgemental. I really value her opinion and I trust her not just professionally, but personally, as a good person. I feel as if she does her best for her clients, and I value her work ethic and her dedication to doing the right thing. She has had a big positive impact on my life during an extremely
difficult time, and I trust her to come to me with not just what I want to hear, but with what I NEED to hear. My relationships have benefitted, and so has my relationship with my self, my ability to believe in myself, to build a strong path for myself in life, and to remember my own strength and perseverance. Thank you!!
