About Me

Do you struggle with telling people no and setting boundaries? Are you feeling that nothing you do is ever good enough? Are you plagued with constant self-doubt about your purpose in life? Does constant worry keep you up at night? Are you no longer enjoying life? Are you feeling down, depressed or hopeless about life?

As someone who has struggled with depression and codependency themselves, I understand the impact this has on your relationships and friendships, as well as, finding joy in the simple things in life, but you don't have to continue to go through this alone. You will be able to silence that inner critic that is constantly putting you down. You will be able to experience joy, have hope, and know your purpose in life. And you will be to stop worrying about things you can't change so that you can finally have a restful night's sleep.

My name is Monique. I am a Licensed Certified Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Arkansas with over 11 years of experience. Although I have helped adults with many challenges, I primarily focus on unresolved childhood trauma, life transitions, codependency, relationship issues, depression, and women's issues. I bring to therapy 11 years of professional experience and 30 years of life experience, as well as, honesty, authenticity, and empathy. My role as your therapist is to offer you my undivided attention as I listen, support, suggest, collaborate, coach, challenge, and laugh with you—hopefully in the right doses!

It takes courage to seek help towards having a more fulfilling and happier life. By being here, you have taken the first step towards change. If you are ready to take the next step I am here for you.

Let's talk and see how we can work together to get you a better life story!

I’ve just started counseling but I already feel as though Monique truly listens to me and understands what I’m most worried about. She’s very kind and doesn’t make me feel uneasy about getting help unlike other counselors I had been to. She’s very quick to respond and I already trust her so much.

I haven’t been working with Monique for that long but I can say for someone who has never been a fan of therapy of any kind she has changed my mind. She relates to me she and it’s calming talking to her. She is kind and respectful. She helped me more in my first week than any counseling of months has ever helped me. I disclosed very personal things to her obviously and she shared personal experience that I would never necessarily expect a stranger to come to me with but when I told her my trouble and she told me hers suddenly I didn’t feel so alone anymore and I didn’t even realized how badly I needed that validation. She’s an amazing therapist and I absolutely 110% recommend her.
