About Me

I know how difficult it can be dealing with depression, anxiety, and trauma. I have years of experience in treating these issues using evidenced-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I have almost 15 years of experience in treating a variety of concerns, including suicidal thoughts, self-harming behavior, relationship problems, and gender and sexual identity issues. I take a holistic, collaborative approach and view my clients as partners in our work together. I offer a non-judgmental perspective and can provide training in emotion regulation, mindfulness, and interpersonal skills or just be a neutral sounding board. My goal for all of my clients is that they discover a life than is meaningful and worth living. I look forward to the chance to work with you and help you reach your goals.
I am also a certified yoga instructor and enjoy hiking and running. I am a parent of a young child and active in animal rescue work. Reading is another of my favorite pastimes and I am happy to suggest books or authors that may be helpful to a particular client's situation.
Please contact me before scheduling a live session as my availability can change quickly and not be up to date.

Moriah Taylor has been wonderful. She has been helping me get to a point where I’m not flailing to keep my head above water. She asks clarifying questions to work towards solutions, as well as gives advice for coping with flashbacks and other difficulties. I am happy she is there to help me find stability in my life.

Moriah is the best! Helping me find new ways to navigate my feelings and thoughts while helping me find new norms.

I really like the convenience of this and the fact that when something truly upsets me, I do not have to wait for my next session, I can just send a message to Moriah immediately. This has a very calming effect to my personal anxiety!

She opens my eyes to other perspectives I didn't think about. It helps me take thoughts and put them into action. I feel like I'm listened to, and that she makes her suggestions with my personality in mind, like she knows what would work best for different people. She's a really good Empath, which is rare, especially when you don't talk to the person face to face.

Moriah has been a great help. It is very refreshing to have someone understand me even in all the extreme amounts of complexity my life holds. She is prompt, caring, and very helpful.
