I specialize in working with LGBTQIA+ folx who are exploring sexuality, gender identity, & the impact of minority stress. I am queer identified & feel this adds to my practice. My work is grounded in respect, curiosity & a deep belief that your identity is not something to be "fixed" but understood and honored. Murphy has been an incredible therapist and a steady presence during a period of deep self understanding and growth for me. She creates a space that feels safe grounded and nonjudgmental while still being honest and engaged. I never feel rushed dismissed or reduced to a diagnosis.

What I appreciate most is her ability to balance insight with compassion. She asks thoughtful questions that help me slow down and actually understand myself rather than just analyze my behavior. Our sessions feel collaborative and intentional and I leave them feeling clearer calmer and more connected to who I am.

Murphy has a way of meeting you exactly where you are while still helping you move forward. I am genuinely grateful for her support and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a therapist who is present thoughtful and deeply attuned.

Murphy Hall has been a great therapist, listening to our problems, asking how we’ve been during every session and any progress or problems we are still dealing with. She’s been very understanding and supportive in what we are going through and what we are wanting to get out of therapy.
