About me

Hello! My name is Murphy Hall and my pronouns are she/her/hers. I am hoping that you have happened upon this page because you are thinking about making the decision to start (or continue) your therapy journey. Finding the right therapist can be overwhelming. Allow me to tell you a little about me to help you in this process.

I received my undergraduate and graduate degrees in Social Work from the University of Southern Indiana. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Indiana. I have had the opportunity to work with many diverse populations through my time as a therapist. I enjoy working with individuals who have a diagnosis of Posttraumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), personality disorders, depression, anxiety, and gender dysphoria. I am trained in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Cognitive Processing Therapy, Prolonged Exposure, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, as well as other modalities. I have experience helping clients process trauma, manage stressors related to sexuality and gender identify, and learn skills to manage symptoms of anxiety and depression. My experience is mostly with individuals who are 16+ years old. I strive to create a safe space for all of my clients and welcome differences.

If you are interested in working with me, I welcome you to schedule an appointment. I look forward to walking with you on this journey.
