Nancy Manly, LPC
About me
You are searching for help – I am here and honored to help you. Welcome!
My name is Nancy Manly, and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and Addictions Specialist, licensed and certified in the state of Colorado. I have been providing transformative counseling for more than 20 years now, with expertise and experience in treating people struggling with a depth and breadth of issues. Some of these concerns and struggles include: anxiety, depression, stress management, substance use and abuse and other behavioral addictions, acceptance and coping with life transitions, grief and loss, unresolved wounds and traumas, healthy boundaries, negative thinking patterns, self-worth, relationship issues, destructive core beliefs, hospice and end-of-life journeys, aging, navigating caregiver challenges and stressors, Alzheimer's and other dementias, compassion fatigue, career issues, walking forward in difficult health diagnoses, managing chronic pain, and other such seasons and situations we battle in life. My skills aid you in developing your skills to battle victoriously.
My approach is warm, compassionate, honest, and gentle - rooted in a strengths-based axis centered around you, the client, as the expert on your own life, guided by me, the therapist, an expert in mental health sciences and in helping people make the desired changes within themselves and in their lives. I integrate a myriad of modalities with concrete strategies and processes that bring tangible and sustainable results.
My clients describe me as calming, empathetic, respectful, insightful, accepting, trustworthy, wise, understanding, easy to talk with, comforting, capable, gentle, honest - " a gifted guide who companions to healing," "a gifted listener who hears the heart beyond the words," "a present strength and safe place."
In creating treatment plans individualized specifically to each client, according to their needs, abilities, and present circumstances; I weave together scientifically-prove therapeutic methods such as Cognitive-Behavioral, Solution-Focused, Psychodynamic, Psychoeducational, Client-Centered, Existential, Mindfulness, Life Coaching, Relaxation, Motivational Interviewing, Somatic, Dialectical Behavioral, Trauma-Focused, and other therapies as appropriate. My therapeutic processes are holistically positioned toward unifying your mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual health and well-being.
I realize that this can sound like a lot to understand and undertake. Just know I will meet you where you are and provide what you need, walking with you and working with you at your own pace; so that, together, we will take steps forward toward the sustainable positive changes you seek. As we work together to crystalize, and then achieve, your goals, it is my directive and passion to not merely decrease your distress and suffering, but to increase your joy and peace.
We all need help from time to time in this life. I admire your wisdom and strength in reaching out. And it is a strength to ask for help when we need it. So whether you have engaged in therapy at previous times in your life, or this is your first engagement in such work, you are absolutely worth taking this path. You can become the person you desire to be. You can live the life you have been given to the fullest. You can learn to manage your feelings, thoughts, behaviors, and life more optimally.
Now that you have taken this first step, I encourage you to take the next one and contact me directly. Life is short, let's begin today in improving yours!

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Nancy Manly. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
I've been seeing Nancy for 6 months and I've never felt more supported by a therapist. She is kind, patient, understanding, open-minded, non-judgmental, compassionate, professional (yet still warm), and I can tell she really cares about me and wants to see me happy and at peace. I often come to her with my thoughts and feelings all tangled up into a ball and she always manages to unravel that ball so that I can begin to see things with more clarity and understand myself better. I leave every session feeling seen, heard, understood, and empowered. The work we're doing has changed me for the better and I know that even after we conclude our sessions, I will be able to handle life and its challenges with a lot more ease and grace. Nancy believes in me and has helped me believe in myself too. I'm so grateful we were matched up by Betterhelp!

So grateful I found Nancy! She was a perfect match for me. She’s amazing at really listening, helping interpret and make sense of feelings, discovering core beliefs, asking the right questions, giving things to work on between sessions, all in a non-judgemental and empathetic way. I made a ton of progress with her in 2 months. Highly recommend Nancy to any of my friends and family.

After our initial call, Nancy was able to identify a key core belief that was inhibiting progress in many areas in my life. She is compassionate, gentle and understanding, beyond clearly exhibiting her expertise in her field. I am so grateful for Nancy and all the work we've done over the last couple of months.
I highly recommend her.

Nancy is a very calming personality. I always feel like she really hears me and sees me. I enjoy her gentle support as I dive into sensitive topics and her encouragement to peer into it to gain the deeper message and understanding.
