Natalie Vance, LCSW
About me
I am a licensed clinical social worker in New Jersey with 10 years of professional work experience. I attended Ramapo College of NJ for my bachelor’s in social work (BSW) and Yeshiva University, Wurzweiler School of Social for my master’s in social work (MSW). When entering college as a young student, I knew I wanted to be in the healing profession. I found social work values to align with my own and I bring those values to the work I do as a therapist.
In my time providing psychotherapy, I have worked with both youth and adults. Some of my specialties include but are not limited to stress and anxiety, coping with addictions, relationship issues, trauma, family issues & parenting issues. I utilize CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) and holistic approaches, to assist my clients with actualizing their goals in therapy. I have experience with conducting both individual and group counseling sessions.
I truly believe a positive experience with therapy can be transformative and the therapeutic relationship to be at the core of that transformation. In therapy, the client is the expert of their own life. To connect with my clients, I mix compassion, coaching, and a clinical approach best suited for each person's goals. I enjoy reading, podcasts, and healthy use of social media and technology. If the client is open to it, I like to incorporate these amongst the resources I use in therapy.
I look forward to meeting you wherever you are on your journey.
