Natasha Lockhart

About Me

My name is Natasha Lockhart and I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) located in Atlanta, GA. My extensive background includes working with clients ranging in age from 5- 90 years old and that have various concerns including depression, anxiety, emotional abuse, trauma, parenting problems, and ADHD.

My therapeutic approach is warm, inviting and interactive. I frequently apply motivational interviewing, cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic and rational-emotive counseling approaches while in session. However, I understand the importance of modifying each session to specifically meet the needs and comfortability of each individual client.

Deciding to seek counseling services is a major decision and should not be taken lightly. I believe that everyone should be treated with empathy, respect and understanding. My approach will be reflective of that.

Natasha is a beautifully kind and considerate therapist. She is open and funny and helps you shift your perspectives in a manner that feels light and effective (even if the topic is heavy) I appreciate her skills and responsiveness to no end. She is warm and intelligent and an amazing therapist!

She is kind and firm and understanding. She gives room for my feelings, while reminding me that those strong emotions are only part of the story and she guides me through sorting the emotions. She helps me to see the bigger picture.
