Nathalie Mineau
About me
My name is Nathalie Mineau, I speak both English and French. I graduated with a bachelor’s in Psychology from Guildhall University (London) and a PGDip in Humanistic Counselling from Brighton University. I am a member of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy). I am committed to their code of ethics and receive regular supervision as part of this.
I am a humanistic counsellor with a particular interest in the integration of mind and body and have also trained in Somatic Experiencing® (SE), a gentle and effective body-oriented approach to support people better understand the effect past traumas and feelings of overwhelm might still have in their everyday life as well as help them regain vitality, resilience and joy.
Prior to training as a counsellor, I worked for 30 years as a Craniosacral therapist and believe that we all have an innate capacity to heal, grow, recover from life’s difficulties and live life more fully.
Non-judgement and kindness are at the heart of my work. I understand how important it is for my clients to work at their own pace, allowing them time to process and integrate each aspect of their experience. I work in a non-directive way, that it to say, I do not advise, diagnose or tell you what to do, but rather aim to help you feel more grounded and develop a deeper understanding of yourself and of your emotions and help you find new, more integrated and easier ways of being.
I look forward to working with you.

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Nathalie Mineau. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
I find Nathalie really supportive and blunt (in a good way) and that's what I need. I find the challenges timely and that she gives me space to consider the impact. I am pleased to work with her.
