I am a licensed clinical psychotherapist who specializes in comprehensive, young adult, and adult psychotherapy. My mission is to confidentially, and professionally treat clients struggling with social, emotional, or behavioral barriers that hinder personal success and overall quality of life. I have experience treating a variety behavior and mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, trauma, anger management, and substance abuse among others.
I earned my Masters Degree in Clinical Social Work (MSW) from The University of Chicago and completed my post-MSW supervision at Specialized Education Services Inc. of Washington, DC. There, I received advanced training in clinical therapy with youth and families, diagnostic assessments, and case management. Meanwhile, I also provided individual and family therapy services for Washington, DC area Core Service Agencies.
After completing my clinical supervision, I began working for the Washington DC Department of Behavior Health School Mental Health Program, where I am currently working as a clinical therapist, providing individual therapy to student's and families. In addition, I provide family and individual therapy to adolescents, and individual adults through my private practice in NW DC.
Continuing education certifications include Co-Occurring Disorders Core Competency Training through the DC DBH Training Institute, Fundamental Concepts and Techniques of Dynamic Psychotherapy, and Child and Adolescent Psychotherapy through the Washington School of Psychiatry.
