About me

I am a Licensed professional counselor with about 5 years of experience working as a mental health counselor. I have experience helping people process the effects of past Trauma, and helping people better understand and cope with their disruptive mood symptoms such as depression and anxiety.

My style as a counselor is encouraging and supportive, I encourage self-reflection and self-acceptance to help people find greater purpose and meaning in their lives. I believe that through respect and understanding people can be empowered to find grow from their challenges and break old habits while becoming a more authentic person. I use a Acceptance and Commitment model of Cognitive behavior treatment that focus on both self-acceptance and acknowledging the realities of the world with out being limited by them. I use an existential perspective while letting you direct the focus of our efforts to make progress.

The road to a meaningful, happier, and more fulfilling life begins with small but significant steps, seeking help is the beginning of that road with infinite possibilities,

I look forward to speaking with you, and supporting you on that journey to a happier and meaningful life.

Neal is someone who cares, and who takes the time to understand you and what you are experiencing. I had never been to any type of therapy before and was very nervous to take that step. Neal has “held my hand” through this process and made me feel safe and validated.
