About me

I know that there are times when what we are confronted with in life can be overwhelming and difficult to manage. You may have intrusive, negative thoughts, general feelings of unworthiness and not feeling good enough, feelings of despair and depression, trauma or other deep-rooted issues that are impacting your life. I believe we have the innate power to transform our lives and change what is not working to heal, expand and grow. It can be tough reaching out and seeking that help so often we desperately need, you have taken that step, the work begins now. I am passionate about helping people work through whatever issues are preventing them from living a meaningful and purposeful life.
I aim to provide a safe, welcoming space to make you feel comfortable and at ease. I have a person-centred approach integrating somewhat of a solution-focused attitude to therapy. Although given my training was in an integrative style of therapy, I can incorporate other styles of counselling into my work when appropriate and necessary.
I can understand and know from personal experience that its not always easy to speak to someone you do not know about very sensitive, deeply personal issues that are impacting your life. It can be really difficult to acknowledge that you need help and that something is not working. I want to reassure you now that I am strictly impartial and hold a space that has no judgement whatsoever. Things can be tough, really tough and often all we need is a gentle nudge in the right direction.
You have the resources necessary to overcome any obstacles on your path, you deserve a life that is full of joy and abundance. Do you have the courage to make that call and make a difference in your life right now. I look forward to work with you given the opportunity.
