About Me

Hey there! My name is Nicholas Pantages and I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in Missouri. I have been practicing in the field for five years, working with individuals who are overcoming depression, anxiety, stress, loss, and severe mental illness. My specialty areas primarily focus on mood disorders, aging, and managing life changes and interpersonal relationships. Therapeutic modalities I rely on heavily include Cognitive Behavior Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. I have been trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing as well.

I'm passionate about working as a team and building off of your strengths to identify paths that can be taken to attain new goals, confront concerns head-on, and radically accept what is out of our control. I think the most important aspects of therapy focus around developing rapport with the individuals I see and supporting them on their journey forward in life.

This is never easy and change takes time. Let's collaborate to address your obstacles, taking steps in the right direction to learn from experience and create a more satisfying sense of self and the potential for a more enjoyable tomorrow!

Nicholas is an amazing counselor. He really listens to what I have to say, understands my background, and comes up with numerous different ways to help me. He responses are always timely and helpful, and we can even have a laugh together when my cat interrupts our video call to bite my hair. Have recommended betterhelp to friends and coworkers who tell me about their mental health struggles because its helped me so much. Forever grateful!!

He is a very well educated therapist and he wants to help you with the problems you think are worst about yourself he's not going to sit there and try to diagnose you with everything in the book rather he will try to help figure out why you have a certain problem

Nicholas is both kind and reassuring and sessions with him are always enlightening. I feel very comfortable sharing my concerns and thoughts and am confident that his responses are well thought out and genuine. I usually take a long time to warm to new people, but Nicholas put me at ease immediately and I felt that I could trust that his advice and judgement is sound. I look forward to sessions with him as his insights help me to view my world in a different light and his reminders and activities are easy to call upon so that I can grow as a person.

Nicholas is a great councillor. He has taken the time to touch base even on the weekends to see how I am doing and how I'm progressing. His approach at listening to what I need to get out before he offers any advice or suggestions is precisely what works for me. His compassion and empathy along with his deep genuine desire to help get me back on track is greatly appreciated and respected. He is a valuable asset to anyone who is looking to be heard and to feel safe and valued as an individual.
