Nicola Murray
About me
Individuals often feel overwhelmed, anxious and lost. These issues come up regularly for adults in therapy and can be helped with the right approach. Working with a therapist provides tools to cope and manage life's struggles, allowing you to become more like your real self.
I completed my initial training in CBT and also utilise many types of approach and will work collaboratively with clients to find what fits best.
Areas of special interest and experience: Intimacy in any form, anger, trust, anxiety, ADHD and OCD.
Feeling stuck and frustrated in your relationship, repeating patterns that you both don't know how to stop? Couples therapy can help work through what is happening and can get to the route of why ? Therapy can help you navigate towards repair and reconnection. Couples often come facing challenges with communication, mismatched desires, unmet needs and repeated arguments. We can work with communication techniques and strategies, emotional regulation, and a step by step approach that addresses the needs of everyone in the relationship.

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Nicola Murray. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
I am new to online therapy and I have only had two sessions so far with Nicola but she has already helped me with so many things just in those two 45 minute sessions. She has also made me feel comfortable enough to talk about things I find hard to talk to people about.

Nicola is very easy to open up to and I feel very comfortable being vulnerable and honest with her. I never feel judged or like I have to filter what I say. I’ve found my sessions with her incredibly useful at validating feelings and concerns, but I’ve also been stretched, challenged and encouraged to question my thoughts and behaviours. I would happily recommend Nicola and the Better Help platform to anyone looking to access therapy quickly and conveniently.
