Dr. Nicole Lebowitz, Psychologist
About me
As a licensed clinical psychologist, I specialize in helping individuals navigate life’s transitions—whether that’s exploring a new identity as a parent, adjusting to professional demands, or making sense of longstanding patterns through a neurodivergent lens. My clients are often thoughtful, capable people who appear to be managing well on the outside—but inside, they feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or unsure of how to slow down and recalibrate. I offer a calm, intelligent space to think clearly, feel safely, and get back into alignment with what actually matters to you.
My treatment approach blends neuroscience-informed care, solution-focused strategies, and deeper psychodynamic insight. I specialize in LENS neurofeedback and nervous system regulation, and I often integrate psychoeducation and mental hygiene principles to help clients make sustainable shifts. While I work efficiently and practically, my lens is also long-term—I believe in minimalist, relationship-based care where clients feel they can return throughout life’s seasons for grounded support without overpathologizing or overextending therapy.
With advanced training in ADHD and autism evaluations, I also support individuals who may be questioning their neurotype or processing how it intersects with their family dynamics, career path, or evolving sense of self. You can expect a therapeutic relationship that feels direct yet deeply respectful—with just the right mix of strategy and self-reflection.
If you’re looking for someone who takes your nervous system seriously but never loses sight of the bigger picture, I’d be honored to work with you.

Reviews
These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Dr. Nicole Lebowitz. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.
Dr. Lebowitz is one of the best therapists I've ever had (and that's saying something cause I've only had one other one as good as her and I've seen, at least, 5 in my lifetime). She listens and she understands. She helps you immensely in understanding what you're going through even when you don't even know. She doesn't just nod and "mhmm" her way through it, she asks the questions and offers many solutions and suggestions. 10/10 recommend her!
