I am currently licensed as a Professional Mental Health Counselor as well as a Licensed Addiction Counselor. I have worked in this field for over 17 years. I have a bachelor's degree in addiction which I obtained through Minot State University in Minot, ND. I obtained a Master's in clinical psychology from Bellevue, Nebraska.
I am compassionate, empathetic and understanding. I believe that it is important to be present with the individual, meet them where they are in life. I utilize motivational interviewing, CBT and DBT primarily in my counseling practice. However, I would say my style is pretty eclectic as I do not believe there is a one size fits all therapy, thus I adjust to meet the needs of the individual in which I am working.
I have been blessed to have had the opportunities to work with individuals, families and couples in a variety of different settings. I have experience working with individuals inpatient, outpatient as well as in the institutional and correctional setting. I also have experience working with a diversified population of people from various ethnic backgrounds. I specialize in working with those who struggle with personality disorders, depression, anxiety, adjustment and addictions. However, I also have experience working with grief and parenting.
It takes a lot of courage to reach out for help and work on change. I am glad you decided to take that step and I am ready to plant footsteps beside you through this journey.
I look forward to working with you!

She's understanding, gives me a lot of support and gives me plenty of ideas on how to help with my problems, and I enjoy talking to her and look forward to the messages.
Nicole is a fabulous counselor, one of the best therapists I have had, of a small handful anyway. She is always listening, helping, and helping me to grow and achieve new levels of happiness in my life while getting rid of the things that might've been weighing me down or making me unhappy. She is a very smart therapist and very professional. She is the best and I look forward to our video conference
