About me

I use a collaborative, warm and non-judgmental approach to support and guide clients who want to create positive change in their lives. I enjoy working with clients to develop new skills to overcome challenges so that they can move from feeling stuck to being empowered.
People can be unsure of their strengths, especially when they are struggling with issues such as anxiety, depression, and life changes. Together, we will work to uncover strengths you may not know you have and use them to support the treatment process. I believe a person-centered, strengths-based approach can be an important foundation to support clients as we navigate difficult issues.
Creating and maintaining a safe, comfortable, and non-judgmental environment for each client is a priority for me. I strive to work with each client to develop skills that support their own path to wellness, as each individual is unique in how they view and interact with the world. I use an eclectic blend of approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing in our work to address each client's unique needs and learning style.
I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in Massachusetts. I have a Bachelors in Social Work from Providence College and a Masters in Social Work from Boston College with over five years of experience working with adults struggling with issues such as anxiety, depression, medical issues, and other life stressors.

Nicole is awesome. She is maximally supportive, a great listener, and very empathetic - with a sense of humor, too. I'm so glad I've met Nicole and get to work with her!

Not a single thing I could possibly complain about with Nicole. She's given me lots of help and has me moving forward. I would recommend her to anyone no matter what the issue that needs to be resolved is. She responds quickly as she can and even when I sent her large essay like stories in the middle of the day she still gives a big and honest response before the end of the day. She doesn't miss a day working with me Monday to Friday either.
