I've been working with Nigel for a very long time now too long to be honest but I don't know where I would be without his help. I would recommend his skills to anyone.

Nigel has helped me get through a really tough time in my life, which I would have seriously struggled to navigate without him.

Great service

When I first started therapy with Nigel, I was experiencing frequent panic attacks and flashbacks related to trauma. I felt completely lost, and BetterHelp felt like my last hope. From Nigel’s very first response, I knew he was the right fit for me. I immediately felt a sense of relief. He explained his style clearly, made sure I felt heard and safe, and asked thought-provoking questions without pressuring me to answer.

It was easy to talk with Nigel, and we quickly built a strong therapeutic relationship thanks to his warm approach, quick, thoughtful and detailed responses, and ability to make me feel safe and seen. Nigel is dependable, insightful, and compassionate. Most importantly, he treats you like a human being.

When difficult topics come up, he is welcoming and thoughtful. I’ve been able to bring my hardest feelings and questions to him without ever feeling judged. He encourages curiosity, shares his own experiences where appropriate, and even adds a touch of humour (including some awful puns!) to lighten the mood when needed.

What I value most is how person-centred Nigel is. He always makes it clear that I have a choice, follows my lead, and helps me work through discomfort without making me feel trapped. His professionalism and commitment are obvious, and it’s clear that therapy is his passion.

Nigel is a highly skilled therapist, and his approach to working with me has been fantastic. He handles trauma work with ease, and nothing is ever too much. As someone who has feared abandonment because of past experiences, Nigel has consistently offered me reassurance in a warm and comforting manner.

I would highly recommend Nigel to anyone looking for a safe, supportive, and communicative therapist. Words don’t do justice to the impact he has had on me so far in our journey, but I am truly grateful for his support. My experience with Nigel has been validating, comforting, and safe. And if you ever need a conversation starter, ask him about his love for rice and broccoli!
