About me

My name is Nina and I am a qualified person-centred counsellor, with a diploma in Therapeutic Counselling. I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (bacp) and I follow and practice their Ethical Framework.
I also work with an agency to support young people and adults with their mental health.

Counselling offers a place to talk about things that might be bothering you, an experience you have had or any other area of your life that you would like to consider or explore.
As a person-centred counsellor, I believe that you are the expert in your life, and I will be by your side, offering empathy and support. I will not judge you. I will not tell you what to do or how you should behave, we will work together collaboratively to explore your situation.
Having a safe space to do this, will hopefully support you to get to a place of understanding, awareness and acceptance.
I am trained to be able to work with people experiencing a number of different issues. If I am unable to support you, I will try to refer you on to someone who has the appropriate skills.
I am able to support anyone over the age of 18, who is based in The UK.

Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Nina Pavitt . We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

Nina is a lovely therapist and very good at hosting open and thoughtful conversation. I often think I won’t have much to say but then I end up talking lots and learning a lot about myself. It’s great to have someone outside of my close circles to talk through life’s challenges with. I rather these conversations not impact my close circle who have their own challenges going on. It helps me offer my best to them knowing I’m taken care of. Thanks Nina.

Nina has been brilliant throughout my therapy journey. She has put me at ease from day 1, which has allowed me to be open & honest with her during my sessions. She has taught me valuable techniques for day to day life and has helped me understand and navigate my way moving forward. Thank you Nina!

I feel so comfortable with Nina, she really as a way of easing anxiety and creating a space for you to talk. Would absolutely recommend her to a friend or family member if they need someone to talk to.
