I am proud to call Wisconsin as my home and have lived my whole life here. I graduated with my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy at Edgewood College and learned about a systems approach to therapy. Prior to receiving my Master’s degree, I earned my Undergraduate degree in Fine Art.
I enjoy creating art and find that it can aid in the healing process and may be helpful when expressing difficult emotions. I take a strength based approach to therapy and guide you to find solutions to your problems. As I guide you in the therapeutic process, you may gain clarity about what you are feeling and needing in your life.
I believe that relationships are the center of our lives and when we are accepting and compassionate to ourselves we can bring our best to our relationships. I work with individuals, couples, and families, who may be struggling through anxiety, depression, grief and PTSD. As your therapist, I aim to provide you a safe and caring environment, where you feel comfortable to discuss what is happening in your life. Together we will explore ways to heal emotional pain, recognize unhealthy patterns and resolve personal problems. Please contact me today.

She is very attentive and tries to get to the trigger of my thoughts. Now I look for the triggers on my own.
Very easy to communicate with.
Noelle is a great therapist. She knows when to listen and when to talk, and has done a great job of understanding what I’m going through even when my ramblings are hardly decipherable to me. She is kind, compassionate, trustworthy, and professional. I’ve worked with several therapists and she’s the first that I feel has given me tangible results.
I had been hesitant on starting counseling for many years and I am so happy I started here and was paired with Noelle! I truly have enjoyed every session starting with the first! She has listened, understood, and guided me through the daily, past, and present struggles with ways to endure future struggles as well. I am confident that it is helping me see things more positively and openly! I can't wait to continue to see what else can come from my sessions!
Still early in my therapy but already Noelle has proved to be a capable professional, that can handle a complicated case without feeling as if she's overwhelmed or scrambling. Highly recommend!
Noelle was the best counselor match I could have hoped for. In my four months since starting, I have become happier and more independent, have navigated relationship conversations and rebuilding, and have less overall anxiety every day. Noelle is an empathetic listener with great advice for steps to keep growing and moving forward. I can't thank her enough for the positive impact she has had on my life!
I would recommend Noelle to anyone who works in the creative field or enjoys making art. We were able to relate well to each other due to our experiences with art and the artistic process. She was responsive to my messages and very approachable during our video sessions. I felt comfortable talking to her about my personal life and what I was feeling. She made me feel respected and that my emotions were valid. She is a great listener and cared about me getting the support that I needed.
Mrs.Penshorn is a phenomenal counselor! She really takes the time to help you understanding your feelings. It’s only been a month and I truly feel that I’m getting the best help possible.
