About me
I am proud to call Wisconsin as my home and have lived my whole life here. I am also licensed in Washington and Colorado and happy to provide therapy to clients in those states as well. I graduated with my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy at Edgewood College and learned about a systems approach to therapy. Prior to receiving my Master’s degree, I earned my Undergraduate degree in Fine Art.
I enjoy creating art and find that it can aid in the healing process and may be helpful when expressing difficult emotions. I take a strength based approach to therapy and guide you to find solutions to your problems. As I guide you in the therapeutic process, you may gain clarity about what you are feeling and needing in your life.
I believe that relationships are the center of our lives and when we are accepting and compassionate to ourselves we can bring our best to our relationships. I work with individuals, couples, and families, who may be struggling through anxiety, depression, grief and PTSD. As your therapist, I aim to provide you a safe and caring environment, where you feel comfortable to discuss what is happening in your life. Together we will explore ways to heal emotional pain, recognize unhealthy patterns and resolve personal problems.
In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, hiking, photography and art. You will find me visiting a local lake or beach during the summer. I also enjoy spending time with my family. I have two lovable rabbits that also keep me occupied.

Very gentle and capable
I look forward to my sessions with Noelle. She is helpful and validates my feelings while giving me skills to overcome the challenges I endure and cheering me on with my goals and excitements.
Noelle is easy to talk with I highly recommend her!
Noelle has been great!
Noelle Penshorn is a much needed bridge across troubled waters in our turbulent current state of world affairs. A way to a better life, guidance, and light.
Noelle was really understanding and patient. She taught me how to have a different perspective on the things I struggled with, and provided tools that would help me change my thought process in a positive way. She ensured to provide a safe space where I felt completely comfortable and I knew I would not be judged. At the end of each session, she would make sure that we covered what we needed to and asked if there was anything else I wanted to discuss before ending the call. I always looked forward to our sessions and enjoyed talking with her. She was great!
I’ve had a few sessions with Noelle so far and have found them so helpful already; she makes it very easy to talk to her & it feels natural to share things with her yet she still keeps the conversation feeling professional/productive. She has already uncovered a lot, and helps me feel like she’s known me for years which is incredible. She gives the perfect dose of gentleness and constructive feedback, which I really appreciate. Thank you Noelle!
Noelle is so great to work with. She has helped me overcome so many personal issues and road blocks and has been essential in helping me develop as an individual and eliminating toxic habits!
Noelle is patient, listens and offers timely encouraging professional advice that has allowed me to find a strong footing to move forward in my life.
Noelle Penshorn is a fantastic therapist. She was able to help me quickly find my center enabling me to see the issues at hand. Her knowledge base is very extensive. highly recommend her!
She is very attentive and tries to get to the trigger of my thoughts. Now I look for the triggers on my own.
Very easy to communicate with.
Noelle is a great therapist. She knows when to listen and when to talk, and has done a great job of understanding what I’m going through even when my ramblings are hardly decipherable to me. She is kind, compassionate, trustworthy, and professional. I’ve worked with several therapists and she’s the first that I feel has given me tangible results.
Still early in my therapy but already Noelle has proved to be a capable professional, that can handle a complicated case without feeling as if she's overwhelmed or scrambling. Highly recommend!
Noelle was the best counselor match I could have hoped for. In my four months since starting, I have become happier and more independent, have navigated relationship conversations and rebuilding, and have less overall anxiety every day. Noelle is an empathetic listener with great advice for steps to keep growing and moving forward. I can't thank her enough for the positive impact she has had on my life!
I would recommend Noelle to anyone who works in the creative field or enjoys making art. We were able to relate well to each other due to our experiences with art and the artistic process. She was responsive to my messages and very approachable during our video sessions. I felt comfortable talking to her about my personal life and what I was feeling. She made me feel respected and that my emotions were valid. She is a great listener and cared about me getting the support that I needed.
Mrs.Penshorn is a phenomenal counselor! She really takes the time to help you understanding your feelings. It’s only been a month and I truly feel that I’m getting the best help possible.
