I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas and in Louisiana with over 12 years of experience in individual and group therapy, primarily in crisis and trauma. I have worked with clients of varying diagnoses, including depression, anxiety, bipolar, PTSD, psychosis, as well as substance abuse and dual diagnosis. Most of my clients have been adults, but, in addition, I have over two years of experience working with families, including couples, parents, children, and chronically suicidal teens. I have used all kinds of creative interventions, including art, music, animal-assisted, Tai Chi, yoga, mindfulness, writing, and life narrative.
My primary goal is to help you identify, manage, and work through any emotional or behavioral problems that impede your quality of life. My role as a therapist is not to judge, but rather to listen and provide support while you work to face problems head-on. I will guide you to navigate to the root cause of your personal crisis, while learning valuable coping skills that will help you stabilize your mood and behaviors

Norma has been and is a God send for me. She is smart and strong and yet gentle in delivery. Precious to me.
Norma is the best!
Norma Clark is a highly experienced, compassionate and qualified counselor. She has helped me understand the complex and at times tragic events I have experienced during my life and has given me hope and practical actions to deal with them. I am extremely grateful.
After almost a decade in therapy, Norma is the best I’ve found. My life has only improved since meeting her.
I have thoroughly enjoyed my therapy experience with Norma. She is extremely knowledgeable, encouraging and I look forward to our sessions each week. She always sends me worksheets on coping skills and triggers in the middle of the week that help me throughout my week until our next visit. I would recommend her to anyone.
Not sure there are enough meaningful words to share about Norma! She came into my life at just the right season and I cherish every single time we had together!!! She makes you feel like you are her only client! Highly recommend!!!!
Amazing person listens and gives good feed back
She is a great listener and always has the best advice! I've only been with her for a month, but she has helped me open my eyes to the reality of my situation and continues to be the best support, even on days that we do not have a scheduled appointment.
After just a couple of sessions with Norma Clark, I was absolutely impressed with her professionalism, compassion, and non-judgmental approach to Counseling! After a few weeks of therapy, I had finally found success with overcoming depression, anxiety, low self esteem, and alcoholism in which I had dealt with over most of my lifetime. Outstanding work Norma!
Norma really understands me and my background. She's a caring person who is very positive. She responds in a timely manner and i feel like i can talk to her without judgement.
