About me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with the State of Michigan with over 17 years of experience working as a therapist, professor, and success coach. Presently, I can only accept clients living in the State of Michigan. I have worked with clients of all ages in K-12 public schools as a school social worker and older adults as a medical social worker. Presently, I am the Field Education Coordinator for the Social Work program at the University of Detroit Mercy and also part-time faculty in the School of Social Work at Wayne State University. I earned a both a Bachelor of Social Work (1998) and a Graduate Certificate in Human Resources (2013) from Eastern Michigan University. I earned a Master in Social Work (2000) from the University of Michigan and presently I am working on my Doctorate in Social Work (2020) with the University of St. Thomas in Minnesota. In my experience, I use an eclectic and brief solution-focused approach to harness issues concerning healthy and successful relationships both personally and professionally. I am best suited to work with college students, young and older adults, parents, career changers, marriage or relationship partners and anyone who just wants a listening ear to make plans for a much better life.
