I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Michigan with more than 8 years of work experience. I have an MA in counseling and completed my doctoral degree in Counselor Education in December 2011. I have worked as a mental health professional, college counselor, pastoral care and counseling professional, adjunct professor of counseling, and a professional academic advisor. These experiences have provided me with a thoroughly integrated-broad perspective that enables me to respond to my client’s needs. I work with my clients to create an open and safe environment where thoughts, feelings, and topics of faith (with clients permission) can be shared without fear of judgment. Taking the first step to seeking a more fulfilling and happier life takes courage. I am here to support you in that process.

A truly wonderful, highly-skilled, and compassionate therapist with a diverse mind set. It's easy to connect with Dr. Kamau. He listens, offers valuable feedback and knowledge, and I can recognize my progress. Bless us both!
