Paul Weeden
About me
I'm a BACP-registered integrative therapist, coach and clinical supervisor with over 15 years of professional experience, working with adults and established professionals across private practice in person and online.
My work focuses particularly on burnout, stress, anxiety, low mood, confidence, self-esteem, career difficulties, and questions of purpose and meaning that often surface in mid-life and mid-career. I have extensive experience of supporting senior professionals navigating the pressures of high-performance roles, though I welcome anyone seeking a thoughtful, grounded therapeutic space.
My style is integrative and embodied — I draw on talking therapy alongside breathwork, relaxation techniques, and somatic awareness, because I've found that meaningful change often involves the body as well as the mind. I also hold an MA in Music & Media and bring a long-standing personal practice in martial arts, yoga, and meditation into how I think about resilience, regulation, and recovery. I also believe creativity and fun, play an important role in our wellbeing.
I provide an open, confidential, and non-judgmental space where difficult thoughts and feelings can be explored honestly. Reaching out for support takes courage, and I see my role as helping you feel met, understood, and genuinely supported as you move toward a more grounded and fulfilling life.
Alongside therapy itself, I often work with clients on healthy work-life balance, lifestyle routines, and the creative or meaningful interests that sustain wellbeing over time. My experience has taught me that lifestyle is rarely separate from the presenting issue — more often, it's part of the solution.
I'm also the author of Authentic Purpose, which reflects the values at the heart of my clinical work: helping people live more authentically, with clearer purpose and greater self-understanding.

Paul is a very warm and thoughtful person. He has given me space to share and presents me with questions and exercises that provide a chance to think about things more constructively. Highly recommend.

Paul is hugely empathetic and listens closely, often highlighting things I may have said as a throw-away comment that requires more exploration, not just focussing on the points of need I have highlighted. I have found our sessions hugely beneficial

I'm glad I insisted on finding a therapist with experience that suits my needs and did not compromise on a near-perfect match. Paul is really great.
