Perry Malzahn, LSCSW
About me
Struggling with life's transitions? My name is Perry Malzahn and I have 15 years of experience in helping clients of all ages navigate life's challenges. I am passionate about providing a safe, confidential, and benevolent space where clients can work on the changes they want to manifest in their lives. I have clinical experience and specialized training working with children, adolescents, individuals, and families. I have served clients struggling with the spectrum of trauma, grief and loss, depression, anxiety, infidelity, peripartum concerns, adoptions, individuals with borderline personality disorder, and military personnel.
I offer online and in-person sessions and I am accepting new clients. I am clinically trained in CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), DBT (dialectical behavioral therapy), SFBT (solution-focused brief therapy), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), and specialized training through the Department of Defense to work with military populations.
It is a privilege to be invited to walk through a client's life with them and sit with them in their vulnerability. Often silent suffering has occurred for a long time before a client chooses to reach out. You don't have to suffer in silence anymore.

Perry has been amazing to work with. She understands where my struggles are and helps direct me with appropriate guidance and resources. She has a strong understanding of people and how our bodies and minds work. It is refreshing to have a therapist that is extremely knowledgeable, kind and caring. I truly appreciate her and highly recommend her. I can see the happier version of myself coming back out. Which is amazing to feel again. Thank you, Perry!!

I have really appreciated the insight Perry has given me and she has really helped me rewire a lot of my overthinking and get a better understanding of how to express and understand my emotions. She's very thoughtful and intentional with the feedback she gives and it makes the whole process a lot easier to open up.
