About me

Hello and welcome to my page! I am a licensed professional counselor in Georgia with over 8 years of experience working as a counselor. I view every person as a unique individual with specific goals, perspectives, barriers, and backgrounds. I have experience in a variety of challenging environments which has equipped me to meet my clients where they are and enable them to achieve the change they desire.

I believe that therapy is only as good as the relationship between the counselor and the client. For that reason, I place the utmost importance on building a strong nonjudgmental relationship with my clients based on mutual trust, genuineness, and empathic understanding. I am trained in DBT, which is a therapy modality most often used to help those stuck in intense emotions, depression, anxiety, black and white thinking, relationship issues, and intense mood swings. My counseling approach combines dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), and person-centered therapy.

You do not have to do this alone! Change is hard but it is made more difficult when attempted alone. It is my belief that our best chance at moving through tough times is when we enlist the help of others. Reach out and let's discuss how I can partner with you on your journey.

My therapist offers to help me in multiple ways. He is very attentive to details which is helping me to evolve into the person I want to be. Defining my happiness and coming up with a strong value system is what we are working on currently. Don’t be fooled by what he doesn’t say, even that is helping me I believe,
