About me

I am a counselling and psychotherapist licensed in the United Kingdom with over 6 years of experience working with adults and young people. I work as a university counselling psychotherapist, a private practitioner with referrals by GPs, and for employment/organisation referrals.
Worked as a pupil support assistant supporting pupils with additional support needs; providing counselling to school children and the children's helpline.
My experience of counselling psychotherapy includes working with individual adults, families, couples with a wide range of issues and problems, including: Post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD); depression; anxiety; self-harm; bereavement/grief; abuse; relationships; and many more issues.

I have a postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), a Master's Degree and a Post Graduate Diploma in Person-Centred Counselling. I have a BSc in Public Administration.
I have experienced a wide range of cultures due to travelling to several countries, including India, Spain, Angola, Singapore, Australia, and these experiences have opened my mind to different ways of being with others

I offer counselling/psychotherapy from a person-centred focal point, such as empathic listening and reflection, compassion, and unconditional positive regard. I believe in empowering each client to fully explore their difficulties, grow and take ownership of key decisions regardless of any mental health diagnosis. My approach combines a person-centred humanistic approach and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT). I will tailor our dialogue and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs.

Therapy can be an emotionally challenging and rewarding experience. asking for help when feeling stressed, anxious, depressed, etc, is the first step to take back control from feeling overwhelmed, and I am here to support you.
