I enjoy the combination of urban city living and outdoor recreation and love to surf.
My approach to therapy is rooted in cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and focuses on using techniques from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Mindfulness. As your therapist, it is my goal to form a trusting relationship and provide you with a safe environment to explore emotions, identify things that you'd like to improve in your life and work together to achieve your goals.
I look forward to working with you.

Rachael is absolutely wonderful. This is my first experience with counseling and she has truly helped me tackle chaos in small, digestible bites, helped me hold myself accountable, and guided me through difficult situations with the utmost grace.
Rachael has been great - even when I ended sessions for a bit - she is non judgmental and so helpful when I’m not being stubborn. Her advice is sound and she is super responsive.
She’s continuing to do great and push me to embrace who I am more.
Rachael is absolutely amazing and I’m so grateful for her!
Ms. Hyatt is a well versed professional. She listens with intent and speaks with care and knowledge. Her approach is kind and smart. I would highly recommend her.
I started working with Rachael about a week or two ago and I can already tell it was a good decision for me. She listens patiently and offers some solutions/tools for me to try.
Rachael is warm, a thoughtful listener and incredibly supportive. Even through the few sessions, she’s helped me spotlight a few of my thinking patterns and helped me start reframing them. It would definitely be helpful if she asked more questions to break things down or prodded more as it’s a little bit hard sometimes to elaborate on what I’m really trying to say. Overall, I’ve really enjoyed my experience so far and it’s been already helpful.
Very responsive and sensitive to concerns. She provided me very concrete thoughtful input and recommendations.
She is great therapist.
I struggle with obsessive-compulsive thought patterns, often feeling like I NEED to do a particular thing to feel better. I worked with Rachael for a few years. She is an insightful, compassionate listener who helped me grow and understand myself better. Thanks to her, I feel more confident than ever in working through unpleasant emotions, and in pursuing my life goals. Anyone would be lucky to have her as a therapist.
I made progress with Rachel after a few weeks that I never made before with my previous therapist that I saw weekly for two weeks. She makes difficult topics and reflections easy to manage and definitely trust her guidance, and grateful to have her input
She is a great listener and is nonjudgmental.
Rachael is incredible — a force of listening, a fount of advice, a brilliant mind whose contributions I implicitly trust to help me manage my expectations and anxieties because she takes such an active role in our weekly conversations. Working with her has given me a perspective and steadiness so many aspects of my life lack and I am so, so grateful to have her in my life.
I was nervous about doing counseling remotely, but I think I found a great fit in Rachel. She really puts me at ease, and I always feel comfortable and supported. Live sessions are always productive, and Rachel just has an encouraging, nonjudgmental presence.
Rachael has helped me navigate the grief of a really tough breakup, listening to my concerns and trying to answer my questions. Quite literally saved my life.
Rachel has been extremely helpful in guiding me on how to deal with my anxiety. She is responsive and patient and she has really helped me through a difficult time!
Rachael has been an invaluable partner while I worked through some difficult questions and choices following my husband's death. She is kind, thoughtful and listened to my questions, fears and doubts. She challenged me with thought provoking questions to help me work through my issues. I am forever grateful that she was in my life during this extremely challenging time.
Rachael's stead approach to my issues allowed me to open up my mind to the responsibility I have in seeking self-love. Her questions sparked ideas, which on investigation, lead me to learning what to do next. Great experience.
Rachel is the perfect counselor. She actually LISTENS and respects my thoughts enough to remember and dive deep into everything happening in my life. She helped me through a dark time and I’m not sure if I would have gotten through it without her. Highly recommend.

I’ve been working with Rachael for 6 months now. She has helped me come so far. She is understanding and fully listens to my needs. Every session I take away something helpful or insightful. I always leave with a homework in a sense of “keep tabs on how you are feeling physically” “write down the times you notice you get stressed” stuff like that. My habits have improved for the better and I’m better able to recognize and understand my own feelings and work through them. She is amazing and I recommend her to everyone! Thank you Rachael for all your help.
