Rachel DeVita, LCMHC, LMHC
About me
Hello, I am a licensed mental health counselor in the state of New Hampshire and I have been practicing therapy for 7 years. I have extensive knowledge in providing gender-responsive treatment to women and their families. I have worked in community and residential settings. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, anxiety, relationship issues, parenting problems, substance use problems, anger management, and ADHD. I’ve also helped many people who have experienced physical trauma or emotional abuse.
My counseling style is warm and supportive, using empathy and compassion to help walk alongside you to discover your best self. I use a holistic approach in my practice, promoting self-care and self-awareness of the whole person during my therapy sessions.
My approach combines cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, and solution-focused counseling. I am trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral therapy. I will tailor our dialog and treatment plan to meet your unique and specific needs, as each person I work with is unique.
A quote I find meaningful is, “One day you will look back and see that all along you were blooming.” Let’s discover how you’re blooming and let me help you grow.

Rachel has been great and easy to speak with. I work full time and am finishing up an advanced degree that took me down existential paths I never intended to learn about. Working with Rachel helps me stay grounded and aware that I have limits just like the calculus I study. A big thank you to BetterHelp for being available and to Rachel for her support.
