Rachel Smitheman
About me
I am a person-centred counsellor who qualified in the UK in 2020 and have had 5 years of professional work experience. My pronouns are she/her. I have experience in helping clients (both adults and young people) with a wide range of issues including depression and anxiety, motivation, self esteem, and self-confidence . I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion and understand that seeking therapy takes a huge amount of courage. We are all different and my goal is to provide a comfortable, empathic space where together we can explore the issues that have bought you to therapy and work together to find a way forward.

She's the best! I don't know how I would have made it through one of the most stressful years of my life without a trusted advocate and ally, who lets me blow off steam and helps me see my own worth in a situation that feels no win.
