About me

“In any given moment, we have two options: to step forward into growth or to step back into safety.” A. Maslow. Kuddos to you for taking the first step towards growth. When overwhelming emotions and challenging circumstance occur, having a safe and non-judgmental space is beneficial. All mental health providers should provide this. However, finding one that will meet your specific needs can be challenging. Let me tell you something about myself that will may help you decide if I will be a good fit for you. I have been both training and working in the field since 2010. I have worked in residential, in-patient, and community settings.
Although majority of my experience has been with children, teens, and families struggling with trauma, mood disorders, behavioral issues, and life transitions; I have enjoyed working with adults struggling with addiction as well. My approach to wellness is eclectic and I adjust to the needs of the client. I do utilize person centered, CBT, and TF-CBT.
I am glad that you are taking the first step into making the change that you want to see in your life. Change can be difficult. I would be pleased to walk with you on your constant path of self-discovery and change.
