About me

Whether this is your first time exploring therapy or you are returning after past experiences, I honor the strength it takes to seek support and growth. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and rooted in the belief that healing happens in the context of safety, curiosity, and connection. I see therapy as a space to come home to yourself, to explore what’s been weighing you down, rediscover what lights you up, and create space for the life you truly want to live. If you're looking for someone who will walk with you, support you without judgment, and challenge you when needed, I would be honored to work with you.

Many clients come to me feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve them, overwhelmed by stress, navigating complex relationships, or seeking deeper meaning and alignment. Some are seasoned in therapy and want to go further. Others are just beginning and feel unsure of where to start. Either way, you are welcome here.

I offer a safe, supportive space to explore what’s bringing you in, whether it’s anxiety, grief, trauma, or a desire for deeper self-understanding. I often incorporate mindfulness, somatic awareness, and trauma-informed approaches.

I look forward to working with you!

You are not a drop in the ocean,
you are the entire ocean in a single drop. ~ Rumi ~

Reviews

These quotes represent just a few of the many positive reviews that we have received for Raj Chehl. We don't pay anyone to provide their review and they are all made voluntarily. Some people's experience receiving therapy with BetterHelp might be different.

Raj is a very knowledgeable and wise person, who helped me overcome many of my own issues including those with self-esteem and feelings of self deprecation or resentment to name a few. She is able to not only listen to my thoughts, feelings, and perspectives, but also to create a safe and comfortable non-judgmental space for that to happen. She is able to get to the root of my issues that I myself was sometimes unable to determine due to emotions or other factors, and was able to explain things to me in a clear and concise way. If you are in need of advice or counseling, I can recommend that Raj will be a great choice to help you.

I am so grateful to have Raj as a therapist. She is very insightful, which demonstrates her ability to truly listen and try to best understand her clients, while also being able to discern when is the appropriate time for her to share her thoughts in addition to listening. She has always been able to meet me where I am at. If I am wanting a more lighthearted session, she is able to offer that. If I am needing a session to be more serious, she is ready to hold space for that as well. I also really benefit from the times where she is able to discuss what she has learned from her education, and she references data that has been researched and peer reviewed (so that I can look into these topics on my own time). Her approach is very balanced between having a "clinical" background, and also being someone who is real and personable. If I am going to be fully honest, she is the best therapist I have ever had. We live in different countries, so I am grateful for the opportunity to have been connected with her, and I could not have had this opportunity without using Betterhelp.

Raj has a refreshingly pragmatic approach to any issues that we discuss in session. Her systematic approach, professionalism, and ability to deal with any situations has significantly helped me over the past year I've spent with her.

Raj's practice has been transformative - she is insightful, empathetic and tactful, able to see where you are and then break down how to get you where you need to be. If you're able to open up, she will get to the core and help you build upwards - her work in IFS is particularly stunning. A year ago, I couldn't get through a single session without crying, and it sure felt as though my life was a mess. Now every session feels like a powerful sense of discovery, and frankly, from my career to my romantic life, everything feels like it's turned for the better, if not the best! You find yourself out in the world, so to change your world, the best thing you can do is to improve yourself. And the best person to help yourself improve in my estimation is Raj.
