Randall Black, LCSW
I have been a Licensed Clinical Social Worker for several decades. Earlier in my life, I focused on becoming a nurse until I met a social worker who had the training and skills I wanted so I could be instrumental helping others make positive changes. I have worked in institutional settings and community settings, in agencies and in private practice. I believe that talking things out is an important tool to help someone discover who and where they want to be.
I have compared myself to a GPS. I can show you a route and you may take that route or choose another way, knowing the GPS will be there to “recalculate.”. Most important is determining just whose road one is following. On occasion people recognize the destination toward which they were travelling is not one of their choice. It was a destination imposed
Wby some person or event. My job will be helping you chose the own right path and become your own GPS.
Life is a great adventure. I look forward to helping you discover the right path that gets you where you want to be.

I worked with Randall for about two months. I enjoyed getting to know him and found working with him was helpful. He has a very relaxed and comfortable style. He was a good communicator and very responsive. He was a big help to me and I would recommend him to other people who are looking for a therapist

Randall is an exceptional therapist. His kind demeanor sets the tone. His style of active listening helps make each session productive. His 50yrs of experience is clearly an advantage for his patients in countless ways. His proactive responses for “homework” or between-session guidance is both a bonus & a testament to his dedication to patients. He does not shy away from the hard stuff (I got rejection letters from multiple therapists before they met me because I was open that I am embroiled in a high conflict custody battle) I feel truly blessed that Better Help put us together. I strongly recommend Randall Black to anyone seeking help with any personal or mental issues.

I have been loving working with Randall. He's so kind and gentle to talk to, when I have been down or upset I really look forward to speaking with him, and getting his perspective on things. He gives me helpful things to put into practice when I need assistance with that, and it would have been immeasurably harder to make it through the past month I've been having without being able to talk to him.
