Rasheena Vail, LCSW, LICSW
About me
You bring a unique story, and your care should reflect that. Having practiced social work since 2013 and specialized in telehealth therapy since 2020, I have had the privilege of supporting individuals across a wide range of diverse and complex life circumstances.
Over the years, I have provided therapeutic care within the criminal justice system, worked closely with individuals who were detained or incarcerated, and assisted veterans experiencing homelessness as they transitioned toward stability. Additionally, I have spent over four years running a private practice that was uniquely geared towards supporting Black and Brown people, as well as LGBTQ+IA populations, creating an affirming space for individuals from all walks of life to navigate daily stressors and heal from deeper trauma so you can reclaim your narrative and thrive.
Outside of my clinical work, I am deeply connected to nature and have a profound love for plants, animals, and all living organisms. This passion fuels my ongoing interest in studying horticulture and soil science, which reminds me daily of the beautiful cycles of growth and regeneration.
I am also a certified yoga instructor and an integrative nutrition health coach who loves studying how holistic wellness can influence emotional and mental health. I cherish a grounded life at home cooking nourishing meals, spending quality time with my wonderful spouse, and laughing at the playful energy of our puppy and kitten. I also enjoy occasional travel to experience new cultures, which continually expands my perspective on human resilience.
I look forward to partnering with you on your unique journey toward a more empowered, resilient life.

Rasheena has been supportive, understanding and intuitive. She provides helpful tools and resources. During my sessions I felt understood and encouraged as well as challenged to try new things. I would recommend Rasheena if you are looking for support that goes above and beyond just being listened to.

Rasheena is very down to earth and grounded in a way that makes you more grounded also. It’s almost as if she’s a magnet helping you find your way back to your center. I haven’t had many sessions yet but I can already sense some positive change. I’m thankful
