About me

Hello!

I am so happy that you have ended up on my page! This means you are taking a huge step in your willingness to contribute to your personal growth. I truly believe that everyone can benefit from therapy!

Here's a little about me. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor and a Licensed Addictions Counselor in the State of Colorado. I received my Bachelor's of Arts in Psychology with a Minor in Applied Behavioral Science from the University of Kansas. Shortly after my undergraduate studies, I moved out to Colorado where I received my Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology from Colorado Christian University. I have been working in the mental health field for over five years with a focus on addiction, life transitions, co-dependency, and many issues in between. With addiction comes co-occurring mental health issues that through my experience in the field have gotten to work. I not only like to work with those struggling with substance abuse, but also the family members and friends who have been impacted by a loved one's addiction.

In my practice I like to take a collaborative approach to help my clients not only reach, but go beyond their current goals. With my clients I work on building a safe, trusting, and non-judgmental relationship that can be trusted with information you often do not share with others in your life. I strive to be your outlet and listening ear while at the same time challenging your negative thought patterns and thinking errors. Together we will work on overcoming your life challenges.

Again, I am so happy that you end up on my page and I hope that we can work together to start making positive changes in your life. Congrats on taking your first step to personal growth!

Please don't hesitate to reach out.

Thank you!
