About me

Sometimes the cycle of life keeps on going around but we need to stop. Life can be really difficult and can often lead you to feel overwhelmed and alone. Becoming a therapist came from a place of being overwhelmed and alone. I will always give my best to support those that are in need and offer a warm and caring environment to talk these difficulties through.

All of my experience and work with clients have developed my counselling style and become adaptable for those I work with. I believe having an outlet to discuss your worries and life problems can be a big help and often takes that weight off those heavy shoulders.

I have worked with those aged 6 to 68 for all kinds of reasons including anxiety, depression, self-harm, parental issues, adoptive families, those in the care system, family troubles and so much more. My training has always been integrated counselling meaning my toolbox is extensive and my practice tailored to suit those I am working with.

One of my key aspects of counselling is the relationship. Building a strong relationship is key and is one of my best attributes.

I look forward to working with you, supporting you on your journey and being that safe space that we often need.

I have been seeing Rebecca for a few months now and really value her down to earth, warm style of therapy. She has been able to give me incredible insights on my behaviour and has helped me work through difficult situations I don’t think I would have been able to handle otherwise. Would definitely recommend!

I have worked with Rebecca for a short period of time and can easily say that forming a professional and open relationship has been very easy, Rebecca is a consumate professional who's insight and expertise has made appointments very easy to commit to, even when difficult questions are being asked. Rebecca is genuinely the best therapist that I have come across. She listens, she takes and gives time to absorb, she is empathetic and at the same time will guide to correct the little habits to eventually lead to a state of better mental state. She helped soo much with my anxiety issues. I am grateful to have found her as my guide, my coach.

I really value the professional and kind support that Rebecca has provided to me at a crisis point in my life where I had reached an emotional stalmate. I was letting past trauma impact my now relationships in a way that I could see but not resolve. Rebecca's clear insights were thoughtful and proactive. She is helping me to forge my path forward. Just the opportunity to talk it through with someone who understands and hears is a release. I feel relief, and gratitude.

I've had a few sessions with Rebecca so far and instantly clicked with her, she has a friendly approach whilst remaining professional and allows me to open up in my own time. I'm looking forward to continuing to work with her in the future due to her supportive, relationship -centred practice .
