About Me

I am a clinically licensed counselor in the state of Illinois. I have vast experience working with people who have depression, anxiety, trauma and anger concerns. I also have experience treating people with bipolar, schizophrenia and schizoaffective disorders. I believe our mental health is as important as our physical health and I take a holistic approach. I am excited to get to know you and to find out how I can help. I think through a lens of cognitive behavioral therapy and believe strongly in creating strong relationships with my clients based on trust and acceptance. I will not judge you, your behaviors or decisions but will support you the best I can and help you move into a space of self acceptance. If you are ready to move forward and to make healthy changes in your life, I'm ready to help you.

At first, I was angry my friends and family wanted me to go through counseling. I had sought counsel in the past, but any benefits seemed short lived. Rebecca has helped me to find peace with who I am and what I've lived through. She's helped me to analyze my faulty ways of thinking and to understand that life is fluid - not set in stone. Circumstances can change for the better, given time, hard work, patience, an open mind, and self-forgiveness.

I love working with Rebecca so much. She takes time out of her week to check in on me on top of our weekly sessions. I feel with her help I have seen huge changes in my mental health and how I cope with adversities. She is so thoughtful and has taught me so much about myself. I can’t recommend her enough.

Rebecca is amazing. If I didn’t know she had such a busy schedule I would think I was her only patient. She reaches out often between sessions and makes sure that our schedules align each week so we can meet. I would recommend her to anyone struggling with their mental health.

She has been great to work with and has been getting me through an insanely rough patch that just keeps getting worse and worse as time goes by.

I’ve been talking to Rebecca for a few weeks and I feel like she is helping me with tools to manage my anxiety. I don’t feel comfortable opening up my struggles with people but Rebecca is really easy to talk to. I always feel better after our sessions.

Rebecca seems to reach out out at just the right moments. I’ve been with her a short time and she’s awesome.
