Welcome! My name is Rebecca Hunt (though I go by Becky) and I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) in the state of Ohio. My 14+ years of previous social work and counseling experience include early intervention casework, play therapy with children and families, group work for teenagers, child welfare counseling and case management for children and adults, parenting support, ADHD support for families and children, and case management for homeless individuals with acute medical illness. I received a specialization in Military Social Work during my master’s program at USC and have a passion for working with those, both children and adults, who have experienced trauma.
I believe that wellness includes many factors of a person's life--mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual health. I believe that many people have the ability to manage any situation or challenge with a combination of existing strengths and learning of new skills. In counseling, I use a combination of CBT, solution focused, and problem-solving therapy, along with Motivational Interviewing, trauma therapies, and (yes even) Play Therapy when appropriate. I believe individualized plans, when developed in your words, are a great road map for reaching your desired destination. Seeking help reflects the courage and drive that you already have within you; I look forward to our working together.

She has a great perspective on my problems and challenges me to look at things in ways I hadn't before which is greatly helping my current situation.
Becky is so amazing! I am truly transforming in a positive way with her help and guidance.
Becky is very helpful! She has a good grasp of my situation and offers helpful ideas.
Becky is a very thoughtful and well-rounded person. She takes care to listen to me so we can prioritize the priorities of the week and the most current session. She also provides a wide variety of advise without making it too overwhelming for me. She also reaches out on a regular basis so I feel supported.
Already told my cousin who was very afraid of therapy about this and how accessible and convenient and comforting it is to have someone help you be a better version of yourself. I recommended this service based on my interactions with Rebecca and I truly think she (my cousin) will use this service too. Talking to Becky changed my view of therapy.
My life has been changed because of my work with Rebecca.
This has been a valuable and rewarding experience for me. I would give Rebecca my highest possible recommendation.
This has helped a lot. Rebecca is able to get to the roots of my issues quickly and give my healthy outlets to help with figuring out why I was feeling that way.
I like that even though I'm sick she still checks up with me.
Rebecca, I think you're doing an amazing job! You are truly patient and respectful. I'm thankful we matched and you're still to help me during my tough times!
Becky is great she is pushing me to see things I would not see and helping me improve my life and helping with my goals.
She’s very caring, responds in a timely manner, usually within a couple of hours, and was able to determine that I had ADHD, which my psychiatrist agrees with.
I would recommend her to others.
I like counciling this way I have been able to be more open.
Rebecca Hunt has been working with me for a few weeks now and I love every piece of advice she has given. She doesn't sugar coat things and gives it to me straight, which I definitely need in times. This app has helped quite a bit and I like that I can access help 24/7 knowing I'll have a response within 12 hours.
I was in a very low place when I first joined. I felt very alone and as much as I hate to admit it, I have a problem opening up to people. Rebecca helped me tremendously. Giving me different ways to think about and keep track of how I felt and how it was effecting me. (Sleep, health, diet, etc.) She helped me realize that even if I don’t know what the future holds, that I can’t dwell on what might happen. Look at my future with high hopes and confidence, instead of fear and worry. I can’t thank Rebecca enough for everything. She truly helped me find a way to be kind to my self and my body.
