About Me

I believe that everyone can restore what is broken in their lives and grow from it with support, empathy and encouragement. As a therapist I strive to provide a safe, non-judgmental holding space where you can be you and share your burdens, fears and struggles. I am honored to be able to earn the trust of those that are looking for help, insight and growth. I believe we all have a purpose in life and our struggles in work, relationships and life affect us but ultimately we decide how. I would be privileged to help you in this process so that out of adversity can come strength.

Just a little background on me, I have worked with a wide range of clients and symptoms. I strive to provide quality services so that you are able to obtain coping skills, gain insight and improve overall well-being. I work from a family systems approach and utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy techniques as well as Intergenerational Family Therapy techniques. I also utilized evidence based practices such as Seeking Safety, Emotionally Focused Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy. I have a client centered focus which means I bring to light your personal strengths and capitalize on time. I have previously worked in community based clinics as well as College Hospital Partial Hospitalization Programs focusing on crisis management and substance abuse. Presently, I am working at a Female Offender Treatment Program and have a significant amount of experience assisting clients through trauma, abuse and grief and loss.

Essentially, I am passionate about providing you with a high quality of care that is specific to you. You are more than just your issues, symptoms or problems and I strive to help you reach your goals, feel empowered to continue to grow and obtain insight.

So understanding of my situation. I never feel judged or looked down on about anything I disclose to her. Overall it’s been a very beneficial experience.
