Rebecca Nia
About me
My name is Rebecca and I am a UK based registered therapist.
I am trained in the humanistic approach and since my initial training I have added to my skills and now work in an integrative way. This means I use many skills, tools and techniques, combining a humanistic approach with other approaches such as compassion focused therapy, CBT, ERP and somatic experiencing ( using the body to calm the nervous system, helping to calm the mind and process emotions)
In other words I can tailor each session to the client's needs, using many tools and techniques.
My clients have had a wide range of concerns, however I have a particuar interest in helping those with anxiety, stress, grief, chronic pain conditions, phobias and trauma, which can impact their daily life, their relationships and career.
I am open, supportive, very informal, warm, friendly and sessions are intereactive, which means we figure things out together. I will support, guide and help you as you navigate, uncover and process your feelings, thoughts and insights.
I will offer you a safe, warm and non-judgemental space. I believe genuine human connection is key in therapy.
I have helped many clients within my practice and it is truly incredible to see how their life can change for the better when they can 'unpack' with someone they can trust and feel empowered, heard and seen.
I believe everyone can make helpful and positive changes in their life, given the right envionment where they are accepted fully.
It isn't easy to start therapy , it takes bravery, but if you feel ready to start this journey, I will support you along the way.
I look forward to working with you and seeing you achieving your therapy goals.

Rebecca is a good listener and she is able to identify critical areas that needs to be unearthed so I can better understand myself, others and therefore be able to handle the issues at hand differently. She is very understanding and empathetic. I have learned alot and the assignments she gives me allows me to think and understand myself on a deeper level.

I have had a wonderful experience working with Rebecca. She is a supportive and encouraging therapist who made me feel comfortable discussing my concerns openly. We have discussed challenges regarding overcoming social anxiety, improving sleep hygiene and building confidence in social interactions, and I truly appreciate how she has been helping me break these challenges down into manageable steps.
Rebecca has a unique ability to break down complex emotions and patterns in a way that feels both approachable and actionable. She has created a non-judgmental space where I felt heard and understood. Her approach is both compassionate and practical, making it easier to open up and apply what we discussed in real-life situations.
If you are looking for a therapist who genuinely listens and helps you grow with actionable advice, I highly recommend Rebecca. Thank you for your support!

When I first started therapy I wasn’t sure if it would work for me and I can now say it changed my life. Rebecca provides a welcoming, warm, and kind environment to allow a safe space to share. Rebecca helped me work through childhood and relationship traumas, and has helped me build a toolset to tackle future things that come me way. She is worth her weight in gold.
