About me

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in Texas with approximately 15 years' experience working with clients. I also have approximately 25 years' experience as an RN working in a primarily psychiaric setting. I believe in a "kid-glove" approach using respect, empthy, sensitivity, and compassion. My approach is from a cognitive-behavioral, humanistic, psychodynamic, and Rational Emotive Therapy perpective. In my last position, I worked with chronic pain patients and taught them how to cope with living the rest of their lives in pain. Due to traumatic events in my life, I am able to understand many issues resulting from these traumatic experiences and I draw from that to help others in similar positions.
If you are wanting to change some things in your life, I am here to help.
